We were without our wonderful accompanist Ness for a few weeks in the Spring term, and with the Easter holidays and bank holidays, the pressure was on to get us into shape for our Summer Concert. It’s been a busy half year, with our ‘Bring the lads night’, when we persuaded the men in our lives to join us singing for the evening. We really enjoy our nursing home tours and so were thrilled to be able to revisit the lovely ladies and gents in Shepshed, it really sets us in the Christmas mood. We’ve sung carols at the Carillon Shopping Centre and we also had a very successful night singing at The Horse, by a roaring fire, very Christmassy. However the season culminated...
