The main aim of Serenade is to enjoy singing and share that passion with others. But there is a more serious side.
As a community choir we try to live up to our name and give something back to the local community. That’s why you will see us singing at local events and raising money for charities close to our hearts.
We are a friendly bunch and all enjoy what we do immensely, so we’re keen to use our ‘talents’ to raise money for charity. This could be a local charity, or a larger, national charity. Members nominate charities they feel deserve support and the choir members then vote to select the charity of the year.
All profits from our concerts and other fundraising activites go towards our chosen charity of the year. If you attend our events, buy raffle tickets, refreshments or cake – they all add up and contribute to the total we can donate to our charity partners.

We’re happy to accept donations. We are very grateful for any amount, no matter how small, to help us reach our goal. We would also like to hear from you if you have any items to donate that could be used for craft fairs, raffles or tombolas.
